マチゲリータ (Machigerita) - ぼくのうた (Boku no Uta)

Machigerita got signed under Frontier Works and released the album "マチゲ箱" (MachigeBako - Machigerita Box) on November 20th 2013.

On the NicoNico page of the song, Machigerita posted the following comment:

マチゲリータです。「ぼくのうた」です。ノンフィクションです。

Machigerita here. This is "my song". It is non-fiction.

1. Tomodachi (?) - Added in brackets, but not sung, is the line: "かどうか定かではない", which should be romanized as "ka dou ka sadaka de wa nai". This is to indicate that he is not sure of the word "tomodachi" (friends) fits as a proper description, hence I went with "(?)".

Notes:

1. Unintelligible / Kamikami: Kamikami refers to speech where you can't find the words to properly express yourself.. It comes from the verb "kamu" (噛む), meaning "to bite" and can be translated in a more literal sense as "biting back words", which is how it is used in the last line. In this case the following translation is more literal: "Though I'll probably bite back my soul's shout". (Source)
2. I want to stay inside / Hikikomotte itai: The verb hikikomoru 引篭もる is usually taken as "wanting to stay inside" in the extreme sense that you really do not want to leave the house for anything, cutting yourself off from daily life.
3. Friends (?) / Tomodachi (?): Added in brackets, but not sung, is the line "ka dou ka sadaka de wa nai", meaning "though I'm not sure if they are my friends".
4. Reunion / Dousoukai - I previously translated this as "graduation party", but reunion seems more appropriate.
5. Swindler / Catch no oniisan: More literal, the Japanese word is "catch sales guy". The phrase refers to a guy who approaches you in the street and tries to pick you up and make you sign an expensive contract that is hard to break.

Notes:

1. Omurice - Omurice, short for "omelet rice", is a dish where an omelet is filled with fried rice, usually ketchup seasoned, and (sometimes) some kind of meat.
2. Thanks! - The phrase used here was "otsukaresama". It's a phrase used for thanking people (of lower or same rank/level as you) for something they (just) did. It's a bit hard to translate as there is a nuance of "we're done now. You must be tired. Thanks for your effort/contribution/you being there".
