歌詞 (Japanese Lyrics) ・ Romaji ・ English translation

----------------------

Crimson quartet-

So Divine...

神域の絶景をお前らに見せてやる
永久の闇切り裂く様な牙剥き出す咆哮(Howling)

(Ray)

そう…深紅色(crimson)の名の下
共に奏でよ…この四重奏(quartet)…

Crimson quartet

My sixth sense... my mind's eye released
Letting a gunshot ring at this faltering world

The burning bullet is in the name of Crimson
Yes... We'll perform a capriccio to lead you all

†Swear loyalty...†

Listen to this song that will reclaim that bound body
Connected by chains

Yes... Vividly blossom in full glory
This quartet of ours

There's no need to wait in bonds release your passion
Let's aim for the peak together everything is So Divine...

We'll show you all the superb sanctuary
A Howling with bared teeth that will tear through the eternal darkness

†Swear loyalty...†

Take God's hand extended to
That idea, that shape, sealed and bound to Hades

Yes... We'll take you away
With this quartet of ours...

"Yo, cattle!
Does this voice, this sound, reach you all?
Can you hear it?
Together, everyone! Bring it on!"

Listen...
I, who has come from the Eden where those Gods frolic,
Will take you all away...

Aa... Devour everything
With this melodic voice coated in crimson...

And then...

We'll take control of even Fate
A [Crimson] Ray that will shatter everything, releasing you all from everything that binds you

Yes... In the name of Crimson
Let's perform together... This quartet...

Notes:
  • Title - The full Japanese title is nothing more than the title in English, followed by the exact same phrase in Japanese.
  1. SHIKKUSU no kankaku wo... shingan wo toki hanachi / My sixth sense... my mind's eye released - While the translation I used for orz fansub group was the same as used by the 'official' Funimation release, the current line is technically correct as the sixth sense IS the minds eye. The hint is given by the Japanese characters, as well as the particle "wo" that is used twice. My apologies for not spotting this earlier. ALSO notice the use of "shingan", which is also in the band's name and, with different characters (真贋), means "genuinity"- a phrase central in a different song of theirs.
  2. Crimson no na no moto / In the name of Crimson - The Funimation translation stated "under the name of Crimson", which is correct as well, but the nuance is different. The Japanese line holds both nuances.
  3. Kusari de tsunagarete iru / Connected by chains - This is another phrase I left from the Funimation translation, but I felt the need to put it after the line following it in the Japanese lyrics to explain the lines properly. To me, there is a nuance that everyone is connected by chains, but also bound by these chains.
  4. Mogaku / To wait in bonds - While "mogaku" is either used for "squirming" (as of an animal that is stuck and trying to get away) or to signify "being impatient", I decided to mix the two meanings liberally.
  5. Hades ni tsunagarete iru tozasareshi sono Idea ni Sashinobeta kami no te wo tore /Take God's hand extended to That idea, that shape, sealed and bound to Hades - I switched the two lines compared to their order in Japanese to make the English sort of work.
  6. Utagoe / Melodic voice - Literally "singing voice".
  7. Hikijigiri kesu / Shatter - Imagine something tearing through something, shattering it to a thousand pieces that are erased into nothingness. Yes, that is the image we're going for.
