Notes

1. "Mimizawari" in the kanji written here translates to "having heard something very unpleasant". In a different kanji, the word could be "heaving the feeling one has heard something", or more literary "(the sound) touched the ear".
2. "Torori" is the sound/feeling of something that is slowly becoming soft or becomes sticky with liquid. In this case I'd say it conveys the image of something rotting away.
3. "Itoshii" gives of the image of "beloved", "coveted", "held dear". "Dear to me" is also a proper translation.
4. Suggesting a marriage or some form of relationship that died out, something that "became dusty and cobwebbed because it wasn't used" kind of image.
5. "Namanie" conveys the image of "under-cooked", and in this case undeveloped. It is a love that hasn't blossomed.
6. I do not feel comfortable with my translation for "Futari tsurusareta", but with lack of anything better, I'll keep it like this. Also... Why is it "negai wa"? Why "は"? Seriously? The "wish" is the object here? I translated it as "を" (o) because it makes no sense otherwise. Sorry Machigarita, but as I cannot ask you or any native Japanese, I'll keep it like this.
7. "Let's" or "shall we", it very much feels like an invitation.
8. "Nemuru" can also refer to an eternal sleep.
9. "Ours" is in "the two of us".
