マチゲリータ(Machigerita) - 僕と怪物、世界の終わり (Boku to kaibutsu sekai no owari)

Singer, Lyrics, Music : Machigerita

The comment posted by Machigerita to the video on Niconico was:
「せかいのおわりを、きみと、いっしょに。」

"The end of the world, together, with you."
There is a slight difference between the lyrics in the video / on the bog and what is being sung. I hope I made the distinction clear enough.

歌詞 (Japanese Lyrics) ビデオ / 歌う ・ Romaji Written / Sung ・ Translation Written / Sung

----------------------

Me and a monster, [at] the end of the world.

☆~~~Lyrics in video~~~☆
The countless amount of stars, stars, stars, raining down on a world
that's about to end,
The big moon, moon, moon, moon, that is falling onto earth's surface.

I said to him.
"You're the only one who talks to me, [mister] big black monster"

While watching the moon that continues to fall, he slightly shyly said.
"No one would have thought facing the end is this beautiful"

Having heard the voice filled with kindness, coming from [his] big mouth
I, weak as I am, cry a little while saying "I'd wish you'd stop time like this."

The moment the world ends, he, covered in thick fur, gently brushed me with an ever present, kind, smiling face.

☆~~~Sung~~~☆
The stars, stars, stars; raining down on the world,
The big moon, moon, moon, moon; falling down.

"Only you talk to me, [mister] big black monster"

"No one would have thought facing the end is this beautiful"
you say

"Stop time like this."
I am weak, sobbing.

You, covered in thick hair, brush me gently.

Notes:
*I am doing these translations for fun. There are multiple ways to translate lyrics, but if you find any mistakes (romaji, grammar, etc.), feel free to point them out.*
  1. I hate translating "san" as "mister" when it is only present to show one is being polite... But in English the line doesn't work otherwise.
  2. Or "stroke me" - but that sounds wrong somehow... Free-er translation would be: "you, who is covered in black fur, gently comforts me".
