歌詞 (Japanese Lyrics) ・ Romaji ・ English Translation

Crystal Rain

Inside the darkness where nothing should be
I shine a light and search for something

I want to believe my wish will be granted someday
By merely being infatuated with the endless sky *

The dream you've fallen in love with, hidden in the sparkling starry sky
Only one Merely one Unable to find it
Trying to spill all the tears laid out in the night sky
One more One more Piling up feelings

Inside this sky where nothing should be
Wanting something, like a God

Wanting to show you the endless sky
I let another flower bloom

If love is spun by aligning displayed memories
That star too This star too Following endlessly
So that the spread out light in the night sky spills over everything
One more One more Piling up wishes

The dream you've fallen in love with, hidden in the sparkling starry sky
Only one Merely one Unable to find it
Trying to spill all the tears laid out in the night sky
One more One more Piling up feelings

If love is spun by aligning displayed memories
That star too This star too Following you
If all the spread out light in the night sky would be my tears
One more One more Granting wishes

Notes
  • As this translation is a first version, I request you to not yet use this in video's or websites for the moment. I'll take away this text when I am happy with my translation. The translation is not 'wrong' as much as I don't like the English phrasing I used...
  1. Endless sky / Doko made mo tsudzuita sora - Alternatively, a more literal translation would be "the sky that keeps on going to I don't know where".
  2. * - I switched around the sentences, so the first English line is the second one in the Japanese text, because in English the nuance is conveyed better like this. ((I'll need to switch around sentences in other parts of the lyrics as well, but this is the only part I already did it...))
  3. Piling up / kasanete - I translated with "piling up", but "overlapping" (as an active verb) would be okay as well.
  4. Feelings / omoi - The base meaning of "omoi" is thought, but it includes the nuance of emotions, and thus also 'feelings'
  5. Following / ni tsudzuite - The image I get is that one star after the next is strung to create a cloth of 'feelings' or 'memories'. I originally had "continuing", as that is the base meaning, but I thought "following" fit better when taken into account the second time it is used.
